OUR FIRST CHURCH ON MORRIS AVENUE

Every once in a while, it's good to take a look back and see

where we came from and remember our humble beginnings.

Our first church building, now a bank, was built for the people of Springfield

by the sweat of their brows and the generosity of their hearts.

This simple, little church has grown from a handful of families to almost 1800 families.

We thank God for our growth and especially for our birth.
